At last! A Weight Loss support group with Pat Honitoes
You’ve often heard me talk about Pat Honiotes of Healing Energies Inc and her rigorous, uncompromising and exceptionally skilful personal coaching programs.
But there is one subject that she has never taught before in a group format, and that is Weight Loss.
I am delighted that she is now offering the support for which she is so renowned around this subject which is so confronting for many of us.
And, as you would expect, she goes way beyond “diet and exercise” -’cos you probably know all about that already!
I can do no better than let her tell you about it herself below.
(and it is worth noting that Pat has lost 81 pounds herself and is still in process to reaching her eventual goal, so she really does know what she’s tallking about -both about how the weight went on, as well as what it takes to lose it!)

Pilot Program
This program is designed for women over the age of 18 who are at least 20 pounds overweight, have tried almost everything else, are feeling frustrated and discouraged and are willing to do their “work” that will enable them to learn how to lose their excess weight and keep it off.
We will not give or make suggestions for specific food programs or diets.
We will not give medical advice of any kind, including a suggestion of an ideal weight for you.
We will not allow others to share medical advice, diet advice or exercise suggestions or advice on the group calls or in group meetings.
We will not give you an exercise program to follow………………………
……………Why?!!! 1. Because we are not medically trained and, 2. You already know most or all of that information.
This group is about supporting you around doing what you already know and helping you through the blocks that keep you from doing what you already know to do.
What we will do is support you in a mature, healthy, and -empowering way on your weight loss journey.
We will do this through
1. individual and group coaching;
2. education in terms of various mind, body and spirit concepts and principles involved in weight loss, etc.;
3. built-in accountability;
4. having a space in which to grow and experience which is safe and non-judgmental;
5. a safe place to practice new skills and new found abilities.
We will cover concepts such as:
1. Body acceptance. Learning to accept/love our current body while working toward a healthier body.
2. Getting past the judgment.
3. Techniques to reduce stress and emotional eating.
4. Eating our emotions.
5. What we are thinking and feeling while eating.
6. Communicating with our bodies.
7. Patience and practice.
8. Dealing with the “don’t want to’s” and “I’ll start tomorrow” and “I’ll wait until I feel like it.
9. Developing a reminder for self care.
10. Actions to take when you’re stuck.
11. Talking about your weight in an empowering way.
12. Affirmations.
13. How past experiences effect current thoughts and actions.
14. Issues that can lead to overweight.
15. Issues and conflicts in adjusting to your new weight.
16. And much more!
What we will need from you:
1. Your current weight and your current measurements. (Neck, bust, upper arm, waist, hips, thigh, and just above your knee)
2. Pictures of you at your present weight. Full length, as much of a close up as possible and still show your entire body. Please wear fitted clothing. We need a front view, rear view, and a view from both sides.
3. An initial 3 month commitment for yourself to the program.
This program includes:
1. An individual weight history with Pat.
2. Weekly group, 1 hour, call on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mondays of the month at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time, 11:00 a.m. Mountain; noon Central,1:00 p.m. Eastern time and 6:00pm in the UK. No calls on holidays.
3. A 15 minute individual check in call with Pat the first Monday of each month. (Must be pre-scheduled; must be taken each Month, may not accumulate).
4. Reduced pricing on other teleclasses and workshops offered by Healing Energies that will support you on your journey towards a healthy weight.

Option 1: $125.00 per month
Option 2: $300.00 payment for 3 months.
Pilot Program:

Option 1: $95.00 per month
Option 2: $250.00 payment for 3 months.
Pilot program participants will continue to enjoy the $95.00 monthly special price as long as they stay in the program even as others join at full price.

Dieting makes you Fat
In the 1980’s Geoffrey Cannon wrote a book called Dieting Makes you Fat.
He has now completely re-written it in the light of what he has found out in the intervening years.
